This is the License Agreement that ships inside the repository and governs what you may do with the source. It is published here in full so you can read it before you buy, not after.

License Grant
This license agreement ("Agreement") grants you ("Licensee") an ongoing, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CrabStack template ("Software") upon purchase.
What You Can Do
- Use the Software to create unlimited applications for yourself or your clients
- Modify the Software to suit your needs
- Use the Software in commercial and non-commercial projects
- Deploy applications built with the Software on any hosting provider
What You Cannot Do
- Redistribute, resell, lease, license, or offer the Software to any third party as a standalone product, template, starter kit, or boilerplate
- Share your repository access with anyone not covered by your license tier
- Create a competing product that is substantially similar to the Software and sell it as a template or starter kit
- Remove or alter any license notices included in the Software
License Tiers
Personal License: Grants access to one (1) individual. This individual may use the Software for unlimited projects.
Team License: Grants access to up to five (5) individuals within the same company or organization. All licensed individuals may use the Software for unlimited projects.
Updates
Your license includes lifetime access to updates. Updates are delivered via the private GitHub repository.
MCP Documentation Server
Access to the CrabStack MCP Documentation Server is provided as a separate service and may be subject to its own terms, usage limits, or fees in the future. Current access is included with your license at no additional cost.
Ownership
You own the applications you build with the Software. You do not own the Software itself. CrabStack retains all intellectual property rights to the Software.
Refunds
If you have not yet accepted the repository invitation, you may request a full refund. After that, because source code cannot be returned once it has been accessed, our position is that the sale is final. This does not limit any right you have under consumer protection law, or the ability of the merchant of record for your purchase to issue a refund under its own policies. A full refund or a successful chargeback ends this license, and the repository access granted with it is removed. The current policy is published at https://crabstack.dev/legal/refund-policy.
No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CRABSTACK MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE SOFTWARE'S FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CRABSTACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
Termination
CrabStack reserves the right to terminate this license if you breach any of the terms in this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.
