CrabStack Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases of a CrabStack license. By purchasing, you agree to this policy. CrabStack is operated from Sweden and is the seller and merchant of record; payments are processed by Stripe. This policy was last updated on 16 June 2026.
1. A Digital Product, Delivered Immediately
A CrabStack purchase is a one-time license to source code, not a subscription. On payment, we create a read-only collaborator invitation to the private GitHub repository for the username you provide. The product is delivered as soon as that invitation is created and you are able to access the source.
2. All Sales Are Final
Because the product is source code that cannot be returned once it has been accessed, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once repository access has been granted, except in the limited circumstances described below.
3. Limited Exceptions
We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- Billing errors: if you were charged incorrectly, for example a duplicate charge or the wrong amount.
- Failed delivery: if your payment succeeded but we are unable to grant you repository access and cannot resolve the problem, and you have not accessed the source.
- Before access: if you have not yet accepted the repository invitation or accessed the source, and you request a refund within 14 days of purchase, we will refund you in full.
Requests outside these circumstances are not guaranteed but may be considered at our discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@crabstack.dev with the following:
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The Stripe receipt or invoice number from your payment confirmation.
- The date of the charge.
- The GitHub username you provided at checkout.
- A brief description of the reason for the request.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe back to your original payment method. Once approved, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer or bank. Where a refund is issued, any repository access granted with the purchase will be revoked.
6. EU Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers in the EU and EEA generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. This right does not apply to digital content once its supply has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.
When you buy a CrabStack license, you consent to immediate delivery of the source code through repository access, and you acknowledge that, by accepting the repository invitation or otherwise accessing the source, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by law. If you have not yet accessed the source, you keep the full 14-day right of withdrawal; to exercise it, email hello@crabstack.dev within 14 days of purchase.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and quickly, and most disputes are faster to fix by email. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate revocation of repository access while the dispute is reviewed.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
